Perseverance Theatre “The Thanksgiving Play” & Food Drive

February 26 - March 16

This Broadway comedy by previous Perseverance Theatre collaborator and 2020 MacArthur Fellow playwright Larissa FastHorse (Sicangu Lakota Nation) is the wacky story of wokeness and centers around a group of four well-meaning but culturally insensitive white theater artists who attempt to create a politically correct elementary school play about the first Thanksgiving while struggling with their own biases and the lack of Native representation.

Approximate running time is 90 minutes with no intermission.

**This production is not recommended for children under the age of 13. This production contains some adult language, graphic violence, gunshot sound effects, as well as the use of stage blood. If you have additional questions about content, age-appropriateness or stage effects please reach out before the performance in order to make an informed decision.**
